£85.00This 12 hr accredited Paediatric First Aid Course is suitable for childminders, nursery workers or anyone who works with children and/or babies. The course is being delivered over 2 Saturdays (17th and 24th July) and full attendance is required.

The course covers:
- Assessing the situation
- CPR on child and baby
- AED (defibrillator)
- Recovery position
- Choking
- Shock
- External bleeding
- Bites, stings, minor cuts and grazes, bumps & bruises
- Head injuries
- Foreign bodies in eye, ear, nose
- Diabetes
- Asthma
- Anaphylaxis
- Febrile convulsions
- Meningitis
- Hypothermia
- Hyperthermia
- Electric shock
- Burns & Scalds
- Poisoning
- The course is practically assessed over the 2 days and there are also 2 multiple choice question papers to be completed.
- On successfully completion of the course learners will receive an electronic certificate issued by the awarding body.
